We should remark that the SEPARADOR C&V, is a highly efficient drops catcher fully demonstrated since it was certified by the Miguel Hernández University, specialized in this type of studies, concluding that the water carried was equivalent to 0.00623% of the circulating water of a cooling tower, which is about 8 times lower than the maximum allowed by law, which is 0.05% (RD 865/2003).
Among the characteristics of these products its lightness and flexibility is very appreciated by the technicians, being able to introduce them easily in the enclosures to be filled. They can also cut them on site and adapt them to the details of any space. To these characteristics of lightness and flexibility we should add its resistance and elasticity, being able to support the weight of a person while they are installing them, and even if they are deformed, in a short time they return to their original shape. All this derives in shorter installation times and therefore lower costs.
Its constructive shape is formed by straight conduits with grid walls. By having this grid as a constructive form, it has a double air-water contact surface, developing a total nominal liquid / air interface, which allows a higher thermal efficiency. On the other hand the straight conduits ease the airflow, with a consequent low air resistance.
The plastic material used is high density polyethylene, which gives it great resistance to chemical attack, as well as great mechanical stability up to about 75 degrees.
Finally indicate that its minimal maintenance, a simple jet wash is enough to eliminate impurities. In extreme conditions, the pad resists lime remover treatments without any alteration.
